Eating disorders are very serious medical and mental health conditions that are both physically and emotionally destructive. Individuals struggling with eating disorders need to seek professional help as early as possible to optimize their chance at full recovery. The most effective treatment for eating disorders involves a team of professionals who have expertise in the field. Generally these teams are comprised of a therapist, dietitian, psychiatrist and primary care physician who collaborate to ensure that the individual's medical and psychological needs are being addressed.

The REDI Clinic offers a team approach to treatment for eating disorders that is not offered in any other outpatient clinic in Wisconsin. For more information, see our Staff and Services page. The specific treatment plan for each individual will vary depending on the severity and symptoms of the eating disorder.

If an individual needs treatment that cannot be safely provided on an outpatient basis, a referral will be made to Rogers Memorial Hospital or another local treatment provider. If you are currently experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

For more information or to discuss treatment options, please call The REDI Clinic at 414-727-4455. When calling, please be prepared to share information regarding symptoms and insurance information. Please be sure to call your insurance company to ensure benefit availability prior to your first appointment. All charges not paid by insurance companies will be the responsibility of the client/family.

The REDI Clinic participates in a variety of managed care plans. Please note that benefit availability, service providers, and medical necessity criteria vary with each insurance plan. We will be happy to assist you in clarifying benefit availability and coverage with your insurance company.
