Tracey Cornella-Carlson, MD

Dr. Cornella-Carlson is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She received her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1992. At Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Cornella-Carlson completed a three-year general psychiatry residency and a two-year fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, during which she was Chief Fellow. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and is currently a leader and clinician at the Adolescent Inpatient, Residential and Partial Hospitalization Programs at Rogers Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Cornella-Carlson is licensed to practice psychiatry in the state of Wisconsin, and a current member of the Academy for Eating Disorders and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Theodore Weltzin, MD

Ted Weltzin, M.D., has been involved in treatment and research related to eating disorders for 20 years. He is the Medical Director of Eating Disorder Services at Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was on the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic from 1988 to 1994 and he served as the medical director of the Inpatient Center for Overcoming Problem Eating during that time. Dr. Weltzin was also on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin as the director of the Depression Treatment Program.

Dr. Weltzin has written over 40 publications, lectured internationally and appeared as an expert on CNN, CBS and Good Morning America. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Eating Disorder Coalition as well as the editorial board for “Eating Disorders: The Journal of Treatment and Prevention.

Jennifer Hailey, DO

Jenifer Hailey is an adult psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and addictions. Her specialty area of interest is treating athletes with eating disorders and has trained with Dr. Lionel Rosen.

Dr. Hailey was an active participant in the Dialectical Behavior Therapy group at The DBT Center of Michigan. She received her Medical Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale. She completed her psychiatry residency at Michigan State University and her osteopathic internship at Botsford Hospital, Farmington Hills, Mich. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Michigan Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Association, Michigan Psychiatric Society, and the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute.

Kathleen Baker, LCSW

Kathleen has spent most of the last decade treating eating disordered individuals at Rogers Memorial Hospital in their residential programs. She is very experienced in providing group, individual and family therapy using a cognitive behavioral approach. She utilizes the following treatment approaches: dialectic behavioral therapy, internal family system therapy, interpersonal therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Kathleen primarily treats adults and is also skilled in addressing trauma therapeutically. Kathleen completed her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is credentialed by the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

David Drajkowski, LCSW

David has been providing psychotherapy for the past fifteen years in a variety of treatment settings. He most recently worked in his own outpatient practice in downtown Milwaukee. Prior to that, he was employed at Rogers Memorial Hospital as the lead therapist treating adolescents and young adults in a residential setting. He was also the leader of a partial hospitalization program at St. Mary’s Hospital. David completed his Bachelor in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is credentialed by the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. David is highly skilled in the treatment of adolescents and young adults with eating disorders and other co-occurring illnesses. He has specialized training in Maudsley Family Therapy and Trauma Counseling. David has an engaging personality and is able to create relationships with young people that result in change and healing.

Melissa Schneider, MA, LPC

Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor credentialed by the State of Wisconsin. Melissa has been providing individual, group and family therapy at Rogers Memorial Hospital residential programs for 3 years. She currently is the primary therapist for the Male Residential Eating Disorder Unit at Rogers Memorial Hospital and facilitates a community eating disorder support group for individuals who struggle with eating disorders and another support group for their family and friends. Melissa has experience working with children, adolescents and adults, of both genders who struggle with eating disorders and other co-occurring illnesses. While at Rogers Memorial Hospital, Melissa was also a behavior specialist primarily working with adolescents and adults who struggle with obsessive compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders. She has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure response prevention (ERP). Melissa completed her Masters in Counseling from Marquette University and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

Karen Stichart, RD CD

Karen has been practicing dietetics for almost 15 years and helped facilitate the start-up of the Adolescent Eating Disorder Partial Program at Rogers Memorial Hospital in 2006. She has a passion for helping those who struggle with disordered eating and eating disorders. She is currently employed as a dietitian at a local hospital and provides nutrition therapy and nutrition education for adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Prior to her current position, Karen held a full time position at Ohio State University Hospital. She received her bachelor degree with honors from University of Wisconsin – Stout and completed her dietetic internship at the Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio.

Darcy Stagman, RD CD

Darcy currently holds a position with Rogers Memorial Hospital as a Clinical Dietician specializing in individualized nutritional therapy for child and adolescent eating disorder patients. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and will graduate in 2009 from the University of Minnesota with a Master Degree in Nutrition.
